Eligibility
Applicants must be faculty members, post-doctoral students, or graduate students at ASU working on a scholarly project served by The Huntington Library collections.
Application instructions
Applications should consist of a curriculum vitae, two references, and a 1000-word description of the research project, which must reference the relevant Huntington materials (350 words) for your project and an outline of the plan of work for the fellowship period (350 words). For graduate students, one of your references must be from your doctoral advisor or chair.
Because there will only be one Humanities Institute-Huntington Library Fellow awarded, we encourage applicants to apply to both The Huntington directly (deadline November 15) and to the joint Humanities Institute-Huntington Library Fellowship internal fellowship (deadline December 10).
Applicants for the Humanities Institute Fellowship are also welcome to apply to supplement that award with a short-term award from The Huntington Library itself under the terms of its own fellowship competition. See The Huntington website for more information. For questions or queries about this supplemental award, please contact the Fellowships Program Coordinator Krystle Satrum.
Application tips
