Digital Mappaemundi: A Resource for the Study of Medieval Maps and Geographic Texts

The Digital Mappaemundi will allow scholars of all levels to investigate medieval world maps in ways not possible in traditional print sources.  Users will be able to instantly and fluidly move between every detail on every major world map to their textual sources and analogs on other maps, facilitating transdisciplinary investigation of these vital cultural documents.
