Reframing Theories of Evil: Interventions in Philosophy

This project brings together philosophical theories of evil to examine discourses surrounding two major political evils of our times: terrorism and genocide.

The underlying premise of this study suggests that we cannot make sense of political evils that take place globally if we look at these events with a Eurocentric theoretical lens. By taking a more global approach, the aim of this project is to broaden the philosophical study of evil through a critical and interdisciplinary methodology.
