States are requiring trans youth to participate in PE and sport based on their sex-assigned-at-birth rather than their gender identity. This project counters these efforts through a youth-driven, story-based public education campaign.

Participants will analyze how trans youth stories have the potential to disrupt structural inequalities, both on and beyond the playing field, by asking: What kind of stories gain traction with which audiences, and why? How does participation in story-based advocacy affect the health and well-being of narrators?
