Water/Power explores comparative histories of areas facing water scarcity and envisions new paradigms of infrastructure and distribution of this life-giving resource. It will take the form of a three-day public program series across Arizona in Fall 2025—including workshops, performances, and discussions—as well as an exhibition featuring a new video installation by artist Tali Keren in 2027 that will travel internationally. Situated at the intersection of art, history, science, public policy, and the law, this project intends to uncover marginalized histories and offer speculative imaginings to devise humanistic solutions toward water security in our region and further afield.
