Each year, the National Humanities Center welcomes up to forty scholars from across the humanities and all over the world.

During their time in residence, Fellows are given the freedom to work on their projects while benefiting from the exceptional services of the Center.

The Foundation's mission is to support research to improve the lives of young people ages 5-25 in the United States. We pursue this mission by supporting research within two focus areas. Researchers interested in applying for a William T. Grant Scholars Award must select one focus area:

Our Mission is to impact the lifesaving capabilities, and the lives of local heroes and their communities. This is accomplished by providing lifesaving equipment and prevention education tools to first responders and public safety organizations. Requests such as event sponsorships, exercise equipment, and family support services are not supported by our Foundation.
